In this webquest, I shopped for 5 family members, but had to spend under $100. I shopped on Amazon.com and found a gymnastics leotard for $12.59 (sister), a 6-pack of striped crew socks for $9.99 (mom), a multi-tasking pocket knife for $9.83 (dad), a monogrammed coffee mug for $11.10 (grandma), and a camouflage thermos for $17.99 (grandpa). So my total price, before sales and tax, is $61.50. Now, I just found out that there is 25% off sale. I turned 25% into a decimal (0.25) and multiplied that by $61.50. After I rounded my product to the nearest penny, I got $46.12 as my new price! But don't forget the tax! 7% is the tax, so I turned 7% into a decimal (0.07) and multiplied it by $46.12 and rounded my product to the nearest penny. Once I rounded it, I added that amount to $46.12 to get my final price of $49.35.
Very nice answer loved how you were peppy but still described how to do this. Very good job!
