It was good to know that math class was being used to do good and help the unfortunate. It made it feel like our math had some meaning and it definitely changed my outlook on the uses of math from being irrelevant due to ya know CALCULATORS! because most people think that if it can be done by computers alone then why should I learn how to do it with twice the effort. However, this actually felt important and meaningful as we solved the math which added to the amount of effort put into it. I found this project overall enjoyable and help me do things like finding percentages.
